Client Service Representative Primary Function:

Inform and educate the general public about Company services so as to increase
the total number of patients served and act as a liaison among interested parties
to ensure patients receive continuous quality care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase number of patients served: Source and target physicians’ offices and hospital discharge planners to educate them about Company services, develop and implement presentations and activities to promote awareness about Company to potential external customers, develop and distribute appropriate written materials to promote awareness about Company to potential external customers, function as primary contact for telephone and other inquiries from potential external customers and the general public, represent the Company in a consistently professional and positive manner to all external individuals and groups.

Act as liaison: Communicate and interact with physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive continuous quality care, identify and interact with applicable community resources to ensure patients are provided with all necessary services regardless of socio-economic status, communicate and interact with applicable Company employees and departments to coordinate services for patients, interact directly with patients
and/or their families to ensure needs are being met by Company, represent the Company within community organizations to promote a consistently professional and positive Company image.

**All other duties assigned by supervising manager.

Requirements:

Education

Minimum of two years post-secondary coursework in marketing or closely related
field. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years dedicated marketing experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience in social services coordination for patients with multiple, complex medical needs.

  • Able to immediately respond to common inquiries and complaints from external customers and the general public.

  • Able to effectively organize and present information and respond to questions from external individuals and groups of varying sizes.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts in whole and percentages.
  • Ability to perform basic computations such as averages and ratios and display them both numerically and visually.
  • Ability to apply basic concepts such as algebra and probability as necessary.

  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to solve practical problems where only limited concrete knowledge is available or limited standardization exists.
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions in oral, written, diagram, and/or schedule form.

There is no significant exposure to extreme environmental conditions, except weather conditions
while changing locations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with
voices, office equipment, and foot and vehicle traffic sounds often being present. The employee
will routinely be required to travel to off-site locations to interact with external customers and
to attend meetings and training sessions where different environmental conditions may exist.
